This origination project was for my Intermedia MFA thesis at the University of Maine, late winter 2024. The first collection process moved through official University of Maine channels, including being approved, and exempt by the IRB system.

Implicit to this project is a bit of meta complication, clearly writing the nuances of how to sense make can be difficult, as often that is the why one makes art, to articulate.

However, if many contribute, collectively we can create an understanding of what it is, why it is, how it is artists sense make.

The project aims to bring recognition to sense making, to connect, and to support sense makers with a publication.
